The main bar is situated amongst four seating areas. In the absence of any electronic games machines, pool tables or juke boxes, the traditional pub styling of yesteryear is recalled. A blazing log fire in the winter creates a cosy atmosphere. As a Fuller's House, the Chiswick Bitter, London Pride, ESB and a seasonally changing guest beer are all served in perfect condition. The Chequers has been awarded the Cask Marque of excellence and the landlord John Cooper the master cellarman award. Other drinks include Carling and Grolsch lagers, Strongbow cider, organic Honeydew and draught Guinness.
